“You’ve Done the Work. You’ve Read the Books. So Why Isn’t It Moving?”
You’ve done the affirmations. You’ve journaled. You’ve vision-boarded. You’ve read the money books, listened to the podcasts, worked with coaches who told you to “shift your energy.”
And your financial reality looks… basically the same.
If that’s where you are, I’m not going to tell you to try harder, think bigger, or raise your vibration. I’m going to tell you something different: the approach most of the wellness industry gives you for money is built on a fundamental misread of the problem.
Affirmations don’t change a financial identity. Visualization doesn’t rewire a pattern. And no amount of high-vibe language gets past a nervous system that’s operating from decades of learned financial beliefs — beliefs that live in the body, not just in the mind.
Here’s what I’ve seen work with real clients: not more inspiration, but pattern interruption. Not positive thinking layered over fear, but an honest look at what your financial identity is actually set to and why.
Kathy — a client I’ve referenced throughout this series — had tried everything before we worked together. She wasn’t lacking motivation. She wasn’t lacking information. She was running into an identity ceiling she couldn’t see, and no surface-level strategy was going to breach it.
What changed things wasn’t a new budget or a new mindset script. It was understanding the structure underneath the pattern.
That’s the conversation for Episode 4 of The Truth About Money™ — “The Identity Ceiling” — dropping this Wednesday on The Soul’s Truth Podcast™.
